Addendum: Me in Atlanta and Orlando

Just a short addendum to my trip through the USA. Our first flight back to Germany was canceled so we were forced to stay one more night in Florida. Gives us the opportunity to enjoy the sun some more hours.

We took the flight through Atlanta, gives us the chance to think of joining the army. Imagine me as a fighting nut :-)

see some black arts being shown at the airport of Atlanta.

and paying tribute to the man, who fought bravely against race discrimination. Oh boy I'm telling you, how nuts is that? Thinking that the color of people tells you something about the value of this man / woman?? Just mankind is so stupid to do so. No one else in the whole universe things like this. So stop this silly thinking. Only nuts do think so.

Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité for ever says Herb the revolution lives on nut.

sun shine all over

Jupp we made it, being an lazy nut in Florida!

This is the hotel, great stuff isn't it?But poor poor T.so, had to make it to a fair and couldn't enjoy the sun. So it was on me to take the pleasure side of this trip.

Wow look at this, it is the space shuttle launching to the sky. If that isn't cool, then what?

kisses from herb the lazy but not nuts nut

Boston town

After we paid tribute to JFK we drove down town to Boston.

Boston is a nice mixture between old buildings- at least for the USA - and modern skyscrapers.

Just lean back and enjoy the pictures.

was a pretty cool trip so far and next stop will be in Florida.

meeting the president

I was near Boston and so I took the chance and pay tribute to the President, to JFK.

You can see his library here, it is a museum and a non public archive too. In the picture below you see the skyline from Boston.

See me trying to win his election? No just kidding I watch some goodies from the good old time.

And see there is another nut nearly as famous as me. Jim the coconut. When JFK was a soldier during WWII and fighting in the pacific his boat was destroyed by Japanese. He and his crew hide on a small island and JFK engraved a message where they hide on the coconut and gave it to some natives and they were rescued by the navy. Isn't this nuts talking?

Brunswick hello

Well on our way out of Maine, we passed a small town called Brunswick. Isn't that cool? I had my first memory in Braunschweig, now I'm visiting a town called Brunswick, the English equivalent for the German word.

As ypu can see this town is small and very lovely. The most interessting thing is the college in town. Here you can study arts. Maybe something for me? What doyoa thing about it?? One nut more in this town wouldn't hurt, but I'm a little afraid of the squirrels. There a plents in this town.

Kisses sent from Brunswick to GGGee and this ain't nuts!

peace in the valley

Yesterday we drove from Bangor to Camden in Maine, we'd listened to good music, Tim McGraw and hit the road.

Camden is a nice and peaceful town directly at the ocean. Here we came to a peaceful state of mind, just take a look at the pictures and relax. Isn't this wonderful?

The hotel in which we stayed was very good, very English but yet American too, we had a fire place which we lighted, a machine which can boil chocolate and hey look at the rose made out of toilette paper.

We really enjoyed this stay.

kisses from an old nut

Herb in da house

Yow GGGee check me out, caus' Herb is in da house!

See me in this fancy tunel of light at the Detroit airport, isn't this nuts?

Oh yes I'm in the USA right now!! Can you believe it?? I passed customs and boarder without being noticed. Here you can see me touching American ground for the first time in my life. It's Chicago airport.

From there I took a connecting flight to St. Pauls in Minnesota and T.so and I rented a car. Uh it's from Texas, how cool is that?

You see a typical American parking lot and me over watching it. Due to many meetings T.so had we didn't have that much time to view things.

One evening we went to the mall of America, the biggests mall in the world. Wow look at these Christmas bowls, they are huge!!!!!

be an italian nut

Last week, T.so and I flew to Milan to see some customers of him. We did take air dolomiti

and really had a nice flight over the alps. The view is marvolous, isn't it?

In Milan I did touch italian ground for the first time in my life. Well I can understand that people do love this country. So full of history, fashion and good food. Upps hopefully they don't eat to much walnuts, that would hurt me.

We did takte a tour through the dome of Milan. Very nice but totally different style than the cathedrals in Tuscany. Well did some family tradition and were deeply impressed from the colorfull shadows on the column.

After we had visited the dome we walked into the gallery Vittorio Emanuelle II. On the backside we saw some very nice and old automobile. Seems a perfect fit to the scenery.

Oh we also meet an old apple, we walnuts do know, that old apples are full of wisdom, so we asked if he may know where the red ribbon has gone, but he didn't know at all.

At the end we have a esspresso like we promiced to GGGee. Is it nuts? We don't know.
kisses to the world
