Back where it all has started

After our last business meeting in Poole we drove back to London Heathrow. We gave back the car and left bus at exactly the same spot, where T.so found me in his pocket and I convinced him of starting this block!
So let’s see and wait what will come back too. Time will tell and that hope is still there is not nuts at all!

Swanage

On Wednesday morning we had over 6 hours time to visit the customer who is sitting in Poole. So the ride from the hotel to the customer’s office would only last ten minutes. T.so and I decided to use the time and drive south towards Swanage and the beach. It’s to be said that this is a very beautiful area. We took a ferry and after five minutes we landed again.

We saw heather blooming and it reminds us of North Germany and the good times we had there. A sad smile creped on T.so’s face. But the heather looks wonderful!

We passed some very nice and expensive English cottages; some reminds me of RĂ¼gen and Sylt. The beach and coastline was stunning. If the sun is shining it must be marvelous here. I love it to listen to the sea. Well the seagulls threw hungry eyes at me!! T.so help me, but he did well. No seagull dared to touch or swallow me. We even met a treasure hunter on the beach, he scanned the sand with a metal detector! I could dream on a life as Indiana Nuts too. Adventures and fame and fortune will be my reward. Well maybe this is nuts!

On our way back to Poole we saw a very stunning ruin. The ruins of corfe castle. That was a great castle and some magic still is lying in the air. Reminds me of the greatest sorcerer there ever was: Merlin the great Nut!
Isn’t that nuts?

Poole

On Tuesday we stood the night in Poole, a small city on the south coast of England, directly at the channel. Old fishermen house, the smell of the sea and salt in the air and Seagulls crying. It was nearly holiday well besides the bad weather.

There was a motorbike meeting in Poole that night and probably 400 bikes were present. An old Indian, the company that Harley once bought, was to be seen. Well I would have loved to go for a ride, but these helmets even if they look stunning don’t fit my little head.

Wouldn't that be cool, riding an old Indian on the small and curling streets on the south coast? That ain't nuts at all!!

Nottingham

On Monday evening we head to Nottingham and passed Sherwood Forrest. Nice area and a Nut is free to go where ever it wants it! We stopped at the hotel and had a hot chocolate. We got a suite for a price of a single room, that was a fine deal!

Time was too late to visit the castle of Nottingham but we saw two statues of Robin Hood, one made out of flowers and one built in bronze. We stopped in the oldest inn of England: ye olde trip to Jerusalem. First mentioned in 1189. Beer and ale pie filled with British beef was good. Thanks God I am a nut, so no mad cow disease possible for me.

At the end of the day we had one final cocktail in the hotel clubroom. And that would have been a nice experience for GGGee too. This ain't nuts!

York

Last Sunday T.so traveled to Manchester and as always I travelled along with him. We had one hour delay from Munich airport and had difficulties in getting our car and finding the hotel. But at one o’clock in the night, we had managed it.

Next morning we drove to York, a lovely old English town. Nice buildings and we still had time to rush through the small town and to take some nice pictures. We even hoped into the cathedral.

The weather was not so fine but we took a quick nap in the car next to the customer we visited, while English rain falls down on our rooftop. The landscape is pretty as well, as you may see.

Birthday

You know, that last week T.so had his birthday and he did not celebrate it, due to the fact, that he thinks there is no reason to party. Well I seldom agree with him, but I do agree on the fact that he has no reason to celebrate himself.

We start the day with Bavarian veal sausage and wheat beer in Aying. It is the favorite beer garden from GGGee and T.so. So normally a good place to start the day. Aying is as Bavarian as a beer garden can be. Absolutely beautiful.

Afterwards we walked the scene and went to Strasslach to a very nice french restaurant. It is very delicious there and worth going. The Name is l'estragon. We had soup from craw fish, beef and a creme brulee.

In the woods nearby we found wild strawberries and raspberries. We head downtown to Munich and had a chocolate with some cake at cafe brenner.

Last but not least T.so tried a new suit at the versace store but he didn't buy anything. I guess he looks great in it but would never ever tell him so!

But friends to be honest I do think celebrating his own birthday with a nut, that is really nuts!

renovation

Last week T.so and I tried to paint the old apartment. Hard work for T.so and I did my best to help him, even if I hate this job.
Wanna go back to my old life. Well not exactly my old life, I don't miss the pocket in T.so's trench but the smile and the laughter of GGGee and T.so together!

we fed on an old Easter bunny GGGee left in the apartment and extremely sweet was the white heart, so pure and innocent. Thanks GGGee

Tour de Paris

On Thursday, T.so took me to Paris! Again we strolled near Notre Dame and the university before he met with customers.

We feel very french when we order a croissant and a cup of hot chocolate for breakfast.

After the meeting we had lunch with the customer and visited Arc de Triumph - well alone with out the customer

The weather was hot and a thunderstorm was in the air. So when we get back to the airport, the thunderstorm breaks loose. We got their in time, but the flight was delayed.

The security officer found me in T.so pocket of his shirt. He was a little bit confused but then smiled at me and T.so and handed me back. Due to the bad weather the flight was cancelled. We got a voucher for the Ibis Hotel and it was a night mare to get there. It was directly in an ugly suburb of the airfield.

Our flight in the next morning had a delay of 70 minutes and we flew into turbulences due to thunderstorm again. But at the end we landed safe and nicely.

GGGee we thought of you, while beeing in Paris. And that ain't nuts at all!!
