Here you can see a puzzle made of wine gum. Of course T.so got it from GGGee. Well I only wish that the puzzle T.so faces in his life right now could be solved as easy as this one.

Bavarian Landscape

Well I have announced it in the past and now I will post some picture showing the Bavarian Landscape that T.so now lives in. The picture above shows me in front of the mayors hall in Nandlstadt, a small village with around 4001 inhabitants and one talking walnut!!

The first mention of this small village was around 1231. As there is evidence that humans settled here for the first time 1800 BC I didn't found anything about any bigger walnut population here, before herb entered the town!



Well to be honest the best things in Nandlstadt is the surrounding and nature in it self. But have a look at the pictures!!



In the next picture you can see the smokestack of the power plant in Zolling, where GGGee will live from next month on.







The Brünnlkapelle is a famous small chapel in Nandlstadt, where people pilgrimage too and pray for help of the holy Mary. When being helped they do donate a picture with a slogan liek: "Mary helped" on it. T.so and GGGee have seen similar on the isle of Symi, where people prayed to the holy Michael.

another galaxy

Yesterday evening GGGee and T.so went out and viewed the latest Star Trek movie. It was good and for both a trip into memories and happy times! Afterwards they had a drink together.

They kissed good bye and both didn't sleep that well. Isn't that nuts?? I'm pretty sure that both would love to pick a trip back in place and time to get things right. "Hey Scotty beam me there, now!"

So hopefully future will show them the way and more hopefully T.so will find his way back to be right on track.

On Monday evening, T.so and I visited a public speech of Karl Theodor zu Guttenberg in Zolling. He is the minister or secretary of economics in Germany since 100 days. He is the rising star of the CSU and most Germans like him. It was a typical Bavarian styled event. A brass band, beer in one liter sized glasses, traditional costumes (Trachten) and Lederhosen.



The speech was fluent and he had some good laughs from the audience. Some people wish that this man once should run for the office and be become Chancellor of Germany. He may become the German Obama. Well we will see.
I have caught some funny faces, while I was sitting on the table and listened to the secretary of economics. Well I guess they have never seen a walnut being interested in politics!

I managed to get an autograph from Karl Theodor zu Guttenberg, you can see it under the Bavarian Hymn. But he didn’t want to be on a photo with me. Well wait until I’m rich and famous, it may be to late for you then!



PS: I'm pretty sure that this is the only picture you can find in the Internet that shows the autograph of the acting minister of economics together with a walnut!!

Radio Americana

On Sunday night T.so couldn't sleep so well so he turned the radio on and listened to the broadcast with name: Radio Americana. It starts at midnight and last till 5:00 am. They do play good new country songs, the new CD of Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Emerson Drive, Rascal Flat and so on.

Well that was the music that GGGee and T.so loved to hear together. So he really enjoyed his time listening to this songs. And suddenly, when I and T.so sang loud some good songs, it was not longer the feeling, that we missed GGee, no by strange miracles she was there, deep in our hearts and souls. The nut heart and the heart of a nut was filled with her present and the room also.

Like Robin Hood

Well Sunday was a hot and sunny day, the first kiss of the summer, a promise for that what might come in the near future. T.so went out to do some archery. The local archery club of Hörgertshausen has it’ 10.th anniversary and invited people to come and try to shoot the arrows at the target. T.so wasn’t bad, but he did not let me try my own luck. Maybe he thought I’m too good for him and will beat him on this.

At the end we have some meat from the suckling pig they have roasted on the coals. That took T.so back to his youth, when he was a big fan of Obelix, well still he is and that maybe nuts for a 42 years old boy.

So all in all it was a good day

Not lost

Well GGGee wondered if I'm lost, because I didn't appear on the last picture! Hey GGGee don't worry, I'm not lost and to prove that fact, I have written a note for you, you can see me with the note from today.

From GGGee with …

T.so and GGGee met each other this weekend to sort some things out and clean up their cellar. They had asparagus together for lunch and Schnitzel. At the end one was left and GGGee gave it to T.so, so he can eat it whenever he wants to.
So this morning when he prepared his lunch box he used it to make two mighty delight rolls. He will eat them with a thankful heart and a big smile, cause it was handed from GGGee with love. I’m telling ya, these humans are nuts.

a day in the life of T.so

I guess it is time for a small and secret look on a normal day in the life of T.so. So let's go and sneak quietly in, so he won't realize that we have a peep on him.

06:00 am he normally gets up, waked by the alarm clock of his cellar. Hopefully he dreamed of GGGee and the lucky times they do had together.

06:10 the corn mill is running and prepares breakfast, T.so swallows down his health care pills: OPC, some vitamins and other stuff

06:15 He takes a shower (hey you don't expect to find a picture of this here, do you??) ;-)

06:45 T.so prepares his lunch packet for office

07:05 T.so starts having his breakfast, He has milled some corn and macerate it in milk. After this he puts some pine nuts, pistachios, soya beans, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cashew nuts and if available some dried fruits in it. Bon appetite, seems healthy but tasty???? Well lucky me he doesn't put any walnuts in it. I will leave him if he would.

07:30 brush teeth and jump into the car

08:00 We reach the office of T.so and start working. T.so is sales director for Europe and he sales electronics to other manufacturers of audio devices, pacemakers, stuff like that. So a lot of telephoning, emailing, discussing solutions, conference calls with American and Singaporean colleagues. This normally last the whole day
You can see me with stuff we produce and sell as an OEM.

Some times in between when I can use T.so's computer I blog my thoughts and think of GGGee. You can see me blogging a new article for GGGee and try to download a picture into this blog.

Somewhere between noon and two pm we take a lunch break and if the weather is fine we walk through the city.

If lucky enough we can leave office around 5 pm and head "home", but is that really home, cause home is where your heart is. Where is your heart T.so?

After a small dinner, there is the chance of going for a walk through the beauty of Bavarian landscape - but this will be an article on its own - and afterwards reading a good book and a glass of wine.

The book you can see on the picture is called:"Jesus loves me"

Uh wow Jesus loves me??? sounds great!!! Well T.so laughed about the story, it is very funny and makes him think of his own life. So a mighty fine book.

Well if the day ends good he may call GGGee and they have a tequila together. Well at least she drinks one in her flat and he one in his. They drink to each other just through the phone. This is a tequila directly improted by T.so. Called Patron, one of the best tequilas. You don't get it in Germany

For our German fan the German version first:

Menschen schenken einander Blumen, weil Blumen den wahren Sinn der Liebe in sich tragen. Wer versucht, eine Blume zu besitzen, wird ihre Schönheit verwelken sehen. Human beings do give flowers to each other, because flowers carry the true meaning of love in their self. Anyone who tries to own a flower, will see its beauty fade away and wither. Because the flower fits perfectly to the evening breeze, the sun set, the smell of wet soil and the clouds at the horizon

Maypole

Well in Bavaria they do have a lot of traditions, one of them is to erect the maypole. It is always a big party, with lots of beer - here it was Augustiner - and Blasmusic! Bavarian outfits and so on ....



The maypole is allowed to stand for 5 years, then he must be renewed. This year it was time for the maypole in Ismaning. So I and T.so invites GGGee with two old friends of us to the erection of it in Ismaning. Weather was mighty fine, music was pretty much Bavarian.



It was good to see GGGee again and the party was very interesting, well there is superstitions, that touching the maypole brings luck and happiness, if done shortly after erection of it. So I touched him and hopefully the miracle is working.

That would be greatly nuts!!
