sweets from my sweet

Today is a rainy day, but I'm humming a small and happy tune! This is not just due to the sweets from my sweet... and believe me That ain't nuts

important meetings

Today T.so and I had a serious meeting with very important customers. They traveled to our office from France, Sweden and Berlin

Discussions went well but not as efficient as we have hoped. So a lot of work still is to be done. Funny thing the sweets for the customers still are presents from GGGee
:-)

The customer is the biggest supplier for head protection for fire fighters and other accessories for these heroes.

During lunchtime we were at Weihenstephan the oldest brewery of the world. That was impressing for our guests. All in all it was not a bad day.

funny thing

Well since today, I'm member of organizing for America, the official supporters for President Barack Obama.

I joined the local group walnut creek, I guess that is what I call funny!!

Kisses to GGGee and the world

That's the story of ..

That's the story of, that's the glory of Love, well so its said in an old song. Maybe forgiveness or family love should be taken in T.so's situation. He met GGGee yesterday evening to see her, to discuss some things like who will get which furniture and so on. At the end GGGee handed T.so some pralines which have been sent by her mom to him. Yes they do still care about him. After all he did. That is the glory of love. Good feeling and Thanks to mother in law and especially to GGGee !

You see me in the middle of all the pralines, I hope T.so won't swallow me, cause that would be totally nuts!!

PS: Another truth: Syringa must be stolen if presented to a girl, it is totally uncool to buy it.

By the Time I get to Phoenix

By the time I get to Phoenix she’ll be rising …. Oh man I can’t even tell you how much T.so loves this song and especially the version done by Dean Martin. His voice so smooth and the timbre in it fits perfect to the sentimentally atmosphere in this song. I guess he never ever thought of being the sad one who - nuts but true - left his love and is sad to the bones about it.

Phoenix on the other hand is a mythical bird that dies in flames and is reborn from the ashes. It is also said that a single tear from the Phoenix could heal a person no matter what he is suffering from. So maybe T.so and GGGee should touch a Phoenix’s tear. The symbol of the Phoenix is very old and has its origin in the ancient Egypt and mythology of old India. So the principle of utterly destruction to be reborn again is very old and maybe one of the deeper truths of human mankind. You may not know it but trees are the keepers of many secrets and old stories. They were whispered from tree to nuts and when we will be trees, we will tell them to our nuts! So we know that men so proud and glorious could go down in flames in a second. But very seldom do these men know how to rebuild their self from the ashes. I will whisper this secret in T.so’s ear, maybe he will listen to it. (one part of the secret is to destroy only the right things not everything) If he does, chances are not bad, that in the destruction of his matrimony lays a deeper beauty: A beauty of rebuilding a trusted and lovesome partnership with GGGee.

I like this picture of the house, which has been torn down, see there is a magnolia in the background, not really to be seen. You have to look carefully, so another truth that we trees do keep is that beauty hides itself from time to time. Magnolias tell another secret: Beauty lasts only momentarily, a flower so sweet can’t bloom forever. To be aware of the real beauty, it must end. If not, the beauty in things won’t be realized, it would be taken for granted. That counts for a partnership too, not every day will be honeysuckle sweet, but like flowers will bloom every year, sweet days – worth to be remembered – will come again. (try to find me in the first picture, well near the sky)

So let’s see and hope that this nut person will listen to a nut, which keeps a lot of secrets. I’m a knight of the order of the Phoenix and know the secret of how to be reborn. Some other men do know it too, but they always make the mistake to be reborn in cycles. A cycle always leads you back the start. Make it a spiral and it seems to bring you back to the start, but in reality you have reached a higher level. That is true rebirth or palingenesis.

PS talking about magnolias: T.so loves this flower and dreams to lay himself to rest under one of these trees. He wants me to come with him, well I guess that means I would never become a walnut tree, but hey T.so if you really want me your buddy on the ferryman’s boat, I’ll do the job. I guess we have mentioned this before, don't we?

Nice surprise

Well it was a nice surprise, when T.so called GGGee to tell her, that they have a meeting with their landlord on Wednesday to talk about ending the contract, GGGee asked if he wants to meet with her. She has signed her new contract with her new landlord and she would love to see him.

So we met at the beer garden in Haag an der Amper, it is about 4 miles away from Zolling and hosts the eldest beer garden in Bavaria.

Haag an der Amper itself is a nice and small town in Bavaria, take a look at the marketplace. Here we enjoyed the sun before meeting GGGee in the beer garden.

Later GGGee, T.so and me enjoyed the sun going down sitting on the bench, you can see above. We sat in the shadow of a lime tree. In the garden of T.so's father there is a lime tree with a bench wrapped around too. Some funny pictures of GGGee and T.so have been taking there. I guess GGGee remembers well.

So just enjoy some impressions of the eldest beer garden of Bavaria. It might sound more than nuts, but sure they both had fun in the beer garden, talking to each other.
So thanks for you question GGGee, was a pleasure seeing you.

Spring break

Hey GGGee,
today just a very personal blog for you!! As you, T.so and me are traveling along the graveled road, on roads less travelled (remember George Strait) and that we don't see the future, I just want to share with you some precious moments. Some Flowers that I have found while travelling along. These Flowers are blooming just for you!

And to tell you a little secret: T.so is dancing with you in his mind too! So even if this is nuts, he hopes you dance!!

Take care and try to enjoy the flowers!!

mixed emotions

Today is a rainy day and it is raining in my heart too. Yeah on days like this, I'm living proof to the fact that nuts do have hearts.

Yesterday GGGee visited a flat she can rent in Zolling and she will tell the owners today she is gonna take it. Well good for her but that means the apartment that she and T.so lived in will be departed. Another part of their history will be gone. That tears me and T.so apart. T.so and GGGee talked to each other last night for more than an hour on the phone. During that call T.so climbed the small hill in his small village and could see the lights of Zolling. When GGGee will move to her new apartment she will live 3 miles away, well at least if we are talking on beeline here. Beeline is such a charming word for a German native speaker, especially for T.so. GGGee's nickname in German is Bee. So he is taking this as an other sign too.

Bee and honey reminds me of a country song: Honeysuckle sweet by Jessi Alexander! Oh how I loved listening to this good country songs, they always take me back in time and place. It is a great pity, that roads could just take you back in place but never back in time.

well a small part in me keeps on telling me, that against all odds that it is not over! Fate has other plans for these two.

The picture shows the skyline of Zolling, it is a pretty small town. Good place to find inner strength and calmness again. From that point of view, it is a good place to spread wings and start again.

Hey GGGee this old nut is wishing you well!!

Hit the road Herb

Today we have changed the tires on T.so's car from winter to summer. As we have to wait for the tires to be changed we headed to a small cafe in Freising, where GGGee and T.so had once a nice chocolate to drink. We reached it one hour ahead of opening hours, so we took a chair and enjoyed the sunshine.

After some minutes the waitress showed up and said that we may order even if the cafe is officially closed. Wow great!! So we had a hot chocolate. Yummy!!! Very delicious!

So she got a nice tip for being so friendly! Afterwards we got back the car and now can race again, the tires can go up to 250 kilometers per hour or in miles 155,4 miles per hour. Yeah baby let the beamer running hot. Maybe nuts but sure it is fun!

One month

Well it has been one month since T.so packed his bags and took me away from GGGee and my old life. Seems so much longer for me.

In one month we travel approximately 78.34 million kilometers around the sun or 48.69million miles. A normal human heart will beat 2.592.000 times in one month. How often does a nuts heart beat in this month? You can guess right now.

But lets forget about all this statistics and get back to earth. Yesterday we visited GGGee and were afraid of what this meeting will bring to us. You can see me in front of the garden with T.so's ring as a halo. Thinking of halo, I whistled a little tune from Trent Tomlison: "He is an angel with no halo and one wing in the fire"

GGGee and T.so loves modern country and this song is a good one, maybe written just for T.so. Well to be honest I guess a lot of guys try to do good but as fallen angels they sinned from time to time and still could be angels with one wing in the fire.

We walked to the beer garden near by, you must know that beer gardens are the most lovely parts in Bavaria. People always seems to be relaxed there. If you ask humans they would probably say this is due to the beer they drink, but let me tell you a little secret that only nuts do know:

People are relaxed due to the shadow and the soothing karma of the chestnut trees. Talking about chestnut reminds me of an other quite famous country singer!

So GGGee thanks for a nice evening, hope to see and meet you soon again

massacre

Easter the symbol of hope and resurrection. That is what Easter means, should mean. But this year it stands for massacre. See what I and T.so have found in the forest. Nutshells in the hundreds, well at least seems to be.

Shocking and very suitable for the situation that GGGee and T.so faced. They both had some thoughts of having a brunch together and meet each other again. I do think that was a good plan, because not loosing contact seems right for this two. Due to hurt feelings on both sides it did not take place. One don't want to hurt the other, the other fears to be hurt again ...?? I can't tell you why, I'm just a simple nut but seeing human beings being so complicated really tells me that they are the real nuts.

It's not nuts to be a nut but sometimes very nuts to be a human being.

Thursday 9 April 2009

just things

which happened today. T.so and I got up at 04:40 am! Umm to early even for nuts, but sometimes just being nut doesn't count and let you get away with it. So we made the trip to the airport in very good time. Had a very pleasant flight with a friendly steward who even served french breakfast to sleeping people. That is good service!!

At lunch break T.so headed home and hang some chocolate at GGGee's door. It should be a sweet greeting for Easter. The wheater here is much better than in Paris and we both are totally tired. So good night Germany and don't get nuts!

Wednesday 8 April 2009

Montmartre

Today T.so was engaged with the the customer the whole day. The supplier is big in pace makers for heart disease.
In the evening we went to Montmartre with the boss of T.so the VP of global operations. We rode the metro and it was fun to be in the train.

We stop at Sacré Couer and as it is family tradition we light two candels. One for the living and one for the dead. But today the one for the living was dedicated to you GGGee!!! The upper candle is for you GGGee, just wanted you to know that.

After that we stroll around the scenery and have some food in a restaurant, T.so had frog legs. I'm telling ya this guy is nuts!! But I guess you know by now!!

Montmartre was worth the trip and we take a taxi back to the hotel where we have some drinks to end the day!

Paris mon amoure

We arrived nearly on time in Paris, and as soon as we reached the conveyor belt T.so's suitcase was on it. We didn't have to wait for one second, that is the way I like it. So we stroll towards train station and the next positive surprise was, that due to lack of stuff the ride towards Gare due North was free of charge. Well we rode one station further and manged to get through the control station with out being caught. That reminded T.so of his youth when everything was easy going.

We saw many of the famous symbols and buildings Paris stands for, we even stopped by at the pyramid at the Louvre, where the da Vinci Code ended but I didn't felt something special, so may be the Code doesn't apply to nuts.

T.so walked through Paris by night with a suitcase and the bag of his laptop. We both felt a little bit like Gigi in one of this lovely movies made in the 50's, back when the world doesn't seems to be that nuts, well at least from our perspective today. The boss of T.so waited on us - at least on him - in the hotel, but T.so preferred to show Paris to me and thinking of GGGee, who really had a hard time and felt so much wounded and hurt these days. I know that T.so hates to hurt her, hates it to his bones. Drives him crazy but we all know he is the nut person in our ménage à trois.

At the Eiffel tower some people glanced at us, watching me and T.so taking pictures of me posing in front of the famous sign. I wonder how many other nuts have been photographed in front of old Gustav?

We were inspired by the scene and T.so was thinking of the past and tries to see the future, but future is not to be seen. Always in a change as Yoda once said!

We took the metro to the hotel and on the way T.so was asked by French people for the way to some specific places, does he look as a guy living here?? Funny!!

When we finally got at the hotel it was midnight and the boss of T-so still waiting on him at the lobby. He discussed the suppliers meeting day for the next day for more than two hours, that is something I called nuts. So the day was long and hard for T.so but some parts are chosen by him self, so I don't pity him that much!

Trip to Paris

After we have visited two customers in the Frankfurt area, T.so took me to the airport of Frankfurt and we checked in with Air France.

Strange and huge airport, people all seems to be nuts and they have looked at me if never seen a nut before checking in. Funny.

The people at security, well I guess that they have seen stranger things than a nut checking through. They did not even blinked with one or two eyes. It is normal for nuts checking through security. X-rayed I felt a little dizzy but good. Well was my second flight, at least the second I remember and I was anxious to see the country of my birth.

Definite I'm a french walnut. Amoure mon cherie, is in my genes all over the place :-)!!

Well for nuts like me there is plenty of room in a plane and flying is always cool. Feels like being an angel. T.so always have the wish when the plane just breaks through the clouds to walk on them. Must be a great feeling walking on clouds, maybe with little wings on your feet and letting all sorrows go and let them sink down to earth.

Well if only this plane could only rush back in time that would be great and that wish isn't nuts at all.

Frankfurt again

Well it was a hard morning, getting up at 04:45 am and heading to Frankfurt, but the drive was beautiful. The sun appears in the east and the sky went from purple to pink and fog lays on every field. Spring shows the first signs and live still have its moments, so even a nut could cry and feel something within its hard shell.

We saw the first magnolia trees blossom, T.so loves magnolia trees. His dream once was to be buried beneath a magnolia tree. Now he promises me to take me with him into his grave, as a sign to the almighty God that he would never have forgotten GGGee, even if not acting appropriate. Well lets see what future may bring to them.

Lunch was taken in a small city near Frankfurt in Dreieichenhain. If that small village isn't beautiful than what, well of course beside GGGee's heart and soul.

I do realise that to much beauty could kill too isn't that a nut's thing???

Thursday 2 April 2009

a small strall during lunch time

Well a typical small stroll during lunch time will be walking from the office, no BS or SZ licence numbers anymore to be seen, down town. Have a short break at the market place and enjoy life there. Some pretty cafes and buildings around it. Smiling at the bear and head on.

The bear has the following story. When Corbinian crossed the Alps in 710 AC to visit the Pope in Rom a wild bear fed his horse. The holy man was so upset about it that he made the cross over the bear and forced him to carry his bags for him to Rom. And so the bear did. As Corbinian was the first Bishop of Freising the bear now is a well known symbol in Freising.

Well maybe stop at the chocolate dealer who sells hand made chocolate from Austria. It really is the best chocolate money can buy. T.so and GGGee love the champagne chocolate with real champagne in it! Yummy even a nut cut get weak for it!

Finally we will walk up hill to the Domberg, the hill on which the dome lies. T.so and GGGee visited the holy service last Christmas. The inner architecture and the paintings are really nice.

Being there alone seems nuts
